Shop Yukon Poem

Twas 6 weeks before Christmas, and all through the town;
Some businesses sales were thriving, while others were down.
Their fortunes were to be helped by the Chamber with care;
In hopes that increased sales or bonuses soon would be there.

The business owners were nestled all snug in their beds;
While visions of dollar signs danced in their heads.
And me in my elf hat, and Santa in his cap;
Had just settled our brains for a pre-Christmas nap.

When out in the city there arose such a clatter;
Customers sprang from their beds to see what was the matter.
Away to participating merchants they flew like a flash;
Found they could buy products and presents and might win some cash

The winners of Shop Yukon will soon be in the know;
That you can eat a great dinner and come away with some dough.
When every Friday coffee, what do our wondering ears hear;
But Santa HT saying “Keep the Cheer here!”
